Description:
Completes manufacturing equipment related installations and ramp-ups.
Gathers, records and analyzes production information.
Performs repair and retest for product and/or manufacturing facilities.
Oversees use of machine control systems and their use in manufacturing equipment.
Completes estimates of requirements arising from process changes.
Resolves manufacturing related problems affecting daily operations.
May develop and verify manuscripts for use with machine control systems to support manufacturing requirements.
Impacts: In Production: Operates a defined number of related specialized machines and equipment, which may include prescribed CNC programming (i.e. setting parameter) to setup the machines for production program. Deliver full range service in a defined and focused technical area of work, while clear input / output relations and generic and /or work specific guidelines, procedures are given or available. Positions need basic level of theoretical and practical know how, skills and typically some level related years of experience, in specialized processes, techniques and systems used in production environment
In Production: Automated line processing and controlling, or operating with a broader range of production machines in production lines are examples for this level or work. Knowledge of standardized work routines and methods, general facts and information is necessary, usually acquired through training on the job.
In Production: Positions are expected to use specialized machines, tools and equipment for effective performance, which allows specific variances in operation mode.
Experience: 2 year vocational training + up to 1 year experience needed.
Knowledge: Basic knowledge and experience of principles, procedures, work routines and skills in the related field of work, gained through structured and focused two-year vocational training period.
Candidate must have a manufacturing background and exhibit the ability to perform the listed job functions.
Participation in the production of manufactured products, and operation of automated equipment operation.
Assist with various other projects and departments upon request.
Ability to understand and strictly adhere to written operational procedures and understand manufacturing process instructions.
Understanding of MSDS sheets in accordance to working with and around potentially hazardous chemicals and have experience with PPE related to chemicals
Work safely and adhere to client safety policies and procedures
Must have good dexterity handling parts.

Level I Surface Prep Technician Requirements
Must demonstrate ability to consistently achieve below activities for 1 year minimum before progressing to Level II
Ability to perform several production requirements per shift in assigned surface prep task o Remelt processing o Slab evaluation and Decay time o Pixel Debond o CO2 or ultrasonic clean o Anneal o Palletize o Etch o PCAT and Pixel Sort
Understanding surface prep terminology and all documentation nomenclature to properly complete and follow instructions from all required surface prep forms.
Understanding surface prep equipment and proper use of that equipment
Ensure assigned equipment is functioning properly, perform daily checks as specified in MPI’s and maintain a clean work environment.
Understanding all surface prep MPI’s and follow them precisely.
Ability to recognize and communicate/repair any issues during the production process task.
Proper and accurate documentation of data in CIS
Maintain clean and organized work area
Ability to communicate production requirements between related shifts
Participate in monthly inventory.

Worker will be working Friday thru Sunday nights. 6PM to 6AM.
