Position Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and distribution activities, including receiving, putaway, inventory management, material movement, picking, packing, shipping, cycle counting, and replenishment. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production requirements, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities
Perform receiving, putaway, picking, packing, auditing, replenishment, cycle counting, and shipping activities.
Move materials, inventory, and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, tuggers, and other material handling equipment.
Load and unload trucks, sort shipments, and stage materials for production or distribution.
Verify product identification, labeling, packaging, and inventory transactions.
Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies, damaged materials, or process issues.
Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, coordinators, inventory control, production, and warehouse team members to resolve issues and ensure workflow continuity.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
Experience operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts, order pickers, dock trucks, tuggers, pallet jacks, or similar equipment.
Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
Intermediate computer skills and experience using warehouse management systems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely throughout the workday.

Preferred Qualifications
2-3 years of warehouse or distribution operations experience.
Experience with SAP, PKMS, or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) or equivalent.
Experience supporting inventory control and cycle count processes.
