Description:The Material Handler will be responsible for the safe and quality execution of all required tasks in their area. Stocking received material, as well as completed products and assemblies from in-house production. Performing cycle counts when needed. Ensuring high standards of HSE are maintained.Key responsibilities:Receiving inbound material from outside suppliers, customer and other client plants and field locations, using forklift and pallet stackersReceiving and processing orders using administrative software tools (ORACLE)Picking materials, components and end products and delivers them to Production or shipping.Preparing orders and materials to ship to customer or vendorsPerforming ad-hoc warehouse duties as required to support the businessSkills & Competencies:Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memosAbility to apply concepts of basic mathMust be able to work independently2+ years’ experience working in a warehouse, preferredOracle experience is strongly preferredHave a good quality and HSE mindset approaching processes and procedures in a warehouse environmentHave a Health and Safety driven mindset and practical, pragmatic approach to hands on problem solvingWork Environment:Fast-paced and noisy environment with constant movement.Regular lifting and/or moving up to to 35 lbs.Qualifications:Be fluent in EnglishHave a forklift license (previously or currently) and pallet stacker experienceAbility to operate a forklift while loading or unloading freightShifts:Monday – Friday from 6am to 3:30pmMust be able to work some weekends VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
