Description:Material Handler/ReceiverMove materials in warehouse racks, between buildings using forklifts, powered/manual pallet jacks, etc. Reading, understanding, and following written SOPs, safety procedures, and job aides.Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Perform all material receiving for Client Therapeutics: pull lot numbers, check purchase orders, confirm quantities, etc for all production and non-production items.Verify accuracy of received goods against purchase orders and packing slips, noting any discrepancies or damage.Back up Purchasing & Inventory Technician by receiving incoming materials in SAPEnsure the raw material storage areas (including Building 1, cylinder docks and outside storage areas at Building 3) are well organized and neat.Remove approved raw materials from the Incoming Quarantine Area and place them in the warehouse in the designated areas. Update location in SAP if needed.Transport materials between storage areas in Building 1, Building 3, & storage trailers.Maintain adequate supply of materials in designated locations for Production personnel to easily access and useAssist with maintaining appropriate raw material and finished goods inventory levels and inventory accuracy such that there is no production down time due to lack of materials.Assist with Inventory-Count items, perform recounts, check issues and receipts in SAP in order to resolve problems quickly and independently.Keep stock storage areas neat and organizedOperate forklift in a safe mannerComplete tasks as directed by supervisorMaintain a clean, organized and safe environment.Complete all training activities successfully and on time.Skill Set/Knowledge/Expertise:Knowledge of inventory control systems requiredAbility to lift 50 lbsForklift experience requiredFamiliarity with Hazardous materials is desirableAttention to detailGood communication skillsAbility to work independently requiredReading, understanding, and following written SOPs, safety procedures, and job aides.Educational Requirements:High School diploma requiredChemicals:Compressed gases of all typesQualifications (IE SAP Experience, Excel Knowledge, Any Certifications, Years of Experience in CertainFields):Forklift experience required, SAP experience is a definite plusNotes:OnsiteEst Hours Per Week: 40 hoursWork Schedule + Time Zone: 7-3:30 VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
