Materials Receiving Coordinator
Material Receiving & Verification
Coordinate pre-arrival communication to prepare for scheduled material deliveries.
Verify delivered materials against packing lists, purchase orders, and project documentation.
Perform detailed receipt validation to confirm quantities, specifications, and labeling accuracy.
Inspect material condition upon arrival and identify discrepancies or damages.
Documentation & Reporting
Accurately complete material receiving forms, logs, and reports in accordance with site procedures.
Capture and maintain clear photo documentation of all deliveries for traceability and audit purposes.
Enter material receipt data into ACC (or similar systems) in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure strict adherence to established documentation and reporting standards.
Quality & Compliance
Enforce site safety requirements during material receiving activities.
Identify, document, and escalate non-conforming materials in alignment with quality procedures.
Support QA/QC processes through disciplined verification and recordkeeping.
Maintain organized records to support audits, inspections, and project closeout.
Storage & Coordination
Coordinate with site teams to ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials.
Communicate effectively with suppliers, logistics providers, and site personnel regarding delivery issues or discrepancies.
Support overall site operations by maintaining accurate and up-to-date material receiving records.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in materials receiving, logistics, construction support, or similar roles within project-based environments.
Core Skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and documentation errors.
Demonstrated ability to follow structured processes and standardized procedures.
Experience performing repetitive, documentation-intensive tasks with consistency and accuracy.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and general computer systems.
Strong communication and coordination skills in a site-based environment.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications
Experience working in Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) or regulated quality environments.
Familiarity with construction, industrial, or manufacturing material control processes.
Experience with material tracking systems such as ACC or comparable platforms.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to work outdoors and on active construction or industrial job sites.
Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout the site for extended periods.
Ability to visually inspect materials, documentation, and labeling accurately.
The primary focus of this role is material verification, documentation, and reporting, ensuring accuracy between delivered materials and project requirements.
This is a process-driven role requiring strong attention to detail, consistency, and adherence to established procedures.
Work Environment:
o Combination of construction trailer and outdoor work
o Material verification performed onsite (e.g., deliveries via flatbed trucks)

Notes:
Work Schedule
Schedule: 6 days per week, 10-hour shifts (6x10)
Rotation: Approximately 1 week off every 4–5 weeks
