Responsibilities / Tasks of the Role:Performing mechanical assembly, maintenance, repair, and overhaul to ensure equipment safety and reliabilityConducting mechanical inspections to maintain complianceInterpreting system data to troubleshoot complex mechanical issuesSupporting initiatives to reduce maintenance costs for in-line inspection toolsWorking toward Level 1/Level 2 competency across MFL, Gemini, TFI, and Caliper TechnologiesEnsuring zero deficiency workshop execution to support flawless field operationsAssisting with root cause analysis to prevent recurring tool failuresFollowing internal HSE procedures to maintain a safe and compliant environmentPromoting and sustaining 6S standards in the workshopEssential Requirements of the role:Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering (preferred) or college diploma in similar discipline1-3 years experience in Downstream chemical process treatment programs would be idealDesirable attributes of the worker:Strong understanding of industrial chemical treatment technology and sales processStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsPrevious experience working in a laboratory setting and/or familiarity with analytical methods and interpretationA comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and refinery market conditionsAbility to present complex technical content to various levels of internal and external organizations, in a clear and concise mannerProficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)Ability to drive a company vehicle as required to perform job duties (motor vehicle record checks will be performed to determine eligibility to drive a company vehicle)Soft Skills:Good verbal and written communication skillsProactivity, autonomy and resourcefulnessStrong problem-solving skillsProblem solving and formulationsExperience working in fast paced environmentsTools or Software:Microsoft OfficeEducation Qualifications:Highschool Diploma or GEDIndustry Background or Experience:Automotive preferredNotes:Hours per Day - 8 Hours per Week - 40
