Job DescriptionLocate, use, and comprehend manufacturer installation and operation manualsPerform inspection to identify necessary corrective action as authorizedPerform PMIAssemble, test, and troubleshoot valves and other equipment per applicable codes and standards per manufacturer and/or customer requirements all new valvesInstall instrumentation/accessories as necessaryOperate diagnostic equipment (i.e. Valscope, profiler, etc.)Perform calibration of measurement equipment in accordance with internal quality proceduresMeasure and record critical dimensions per manufacturer specifications.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent. 1+ years related experienceRead and interpret assembly instructionsReading calipers and gaugesHydro testing valve experienceSAP Experience Preferred by not required(ERP systems a plus)Nice to have:Control valve assembly experienceCalibrating and testing experience of valvesGood communication and reliableWork environment:Very fast paced and noisy, long-Standing HoursThe employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.WorkshopShifts:1st Shift 7am to 3pm Monday – FridayOT and weekendsVIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
