As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will actively be participating in the design, analysis and development of current and new Drill Bit technologies.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Creating Drill Bit Design and manufacturing packages utilizing 3-D modelling and data management systems
Interfacing with Product Line Management, Operations, Manufacturing, and Technology groups to improve product performance
Conducting all activities in line with our non-negotiables, and applicable processes for HSE, Quality, Legal Compliance and Cultural pillar.

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ relevant experience, Mechanical Engineering or similar
Have experience with 3D CAD system - experience in Siemens NX
Be Familiar with product data management systems - experience in Teamcenter PLM
Have experience with simulations software for Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
Experience in Drill Bits; PDC, Tricone or Kymera
Select engineering techniques and utilize analysis tools to solve problems and make sound design recommendations
Be familiar with mechanical component designs and applied methods
Drive consistent usage of product design standards

40 hours per week - Equivalent to 1 project completion
