Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders for metrology equipment calibrations, calibration standards, tooling, consumables, services, etc

Occasional drafting of technical formal customer reports

Obtain and compare vendor quotations and negotiate pricing when appropriate.

Track open orders and expedite deliveries to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations when needed

Maintain department records, files, and documentation in accordance with company procedures and quality standards

Collaborate with equipment owners to manage equipment status

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

1+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Technical Knowledge Areas

Electrical calibration equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, process calibrators, etc.)

Dimensional measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, gauge blocks, CMMs, etc.)

Quality management systems and calibration traceability requirements

Asset management and calibration software systems

Physical Requirements

Occasional lifting of materials and equipment up to 35 pounds

Ability to move throughout laboratory and manufacturing areas as required
