The client is looking for one (1) .NET Web Developer II

Project details:
This position will work to support and enhance existing web applications maintained within the Enterprise section. The project is underway and include .NET MVC web applications with heavy use of VB .NET, .NET MVC with C#, JavaScript, jQuery, Kendo UI, Entity Framework and SQL Server components. The person in this position will work closely with the team in designing and developing the front end and server side of the web application.

Project duties include requirements analysis, design, front-end and back-end web application development, testing, participation in interactive code reviews, and development using JavaScript, JQuery, Kendo UI, ASP.NET MVC with C#, VB.NET, SQL Server, DB2 and Oracle. Expectations for this position are development of quality code, following coding standards, participation in active code reviews, sharing expertise, respectful communication, transparency, technical documentation, and the ability to perform production support. The developer may work on other projects as needed. The candidate should be able to work independently and know when to ask for help.

Knowledge of client programs, prior experience with Financial applications development and familiarity with client application systems, procedures, and development standards is highly preferred. Demonstrated experience in DB2, Oracle, and SQL Server is required.

The candidate should have strong communication skills and should be a team player.

The intermediate level .NET Web Developer designs, develops, and implements web-based applications using .NET framework to support business requirements. Includes the use of related development technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, .NET CORE and supported programming languages (e.g. C#, C++, bootstrap) and scripting languages (e.g. TypeScript, JavaScript). Performs development of front-end and back-end development of web applications and web API's (webservices). Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates documentation, and performs application coding and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Requires a bachelor's or associates degree in area of specialty or 3-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Can perform with limited supervision, code is reviewed by team. May review junior developer’s code.


Notes:
Candidate MUST be a resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. 90-100% remote but can require staff to come onsite as necessary with sufficient notice.
