Description: Oncology RN Responsibilities: Assesses/reassesses patients ages young adult through the elderly and applies the nursing process to:• Chemotherapy Administration• Assist with specialized procedures• Pain Management• Sedation• Special Isolations• End of life care• Use specialized medical equipment in the care of patients undergoing chemotherapy and other procedures • Specialized IV Drips/Titration• IV therapy• Transfusion Therapy• Accessing Central Lines• Medication Administration• Information ManagementAdditional Certifications Required or Preferred:• ACLS training preferred • BLS training required Dexterity and eye-hand coordination to perform activities which involve holding, positioning, manipulating, etc.Visual ability to monitor instruments, distinguish characters (letters, numbers, etc.), observe physical characteristics, etc.Involves hearing ability to recognize sounds, sound patterns and/or other auditory stimuli.Physical ability to react/respond quickly in emergencies, including life-threatening situations.Shift Nights, 7p-7a, 48 hrs/wk, 4x12, 13 weeks, Inpatient setting, requires Chemo Cert.VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
