Job DescriptionRemote Operational Center - Second Look SpecialistSummaryThis is technical troubleshooting in Wind Remote Operations Center. This is a shift based role that needs to be performed on campus. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.Roles and ResponsibilitiesAble to proficiently perform the remote troubleshooting of wind turbines and other power assets using digital tools.Read, understand, and execute technical troubleshooting documents.Document and communicate the technical data consistent with engineering policies and proceduresAdhere to applicable regulatory compliance requirements as applicable.Provide timely communications/escalate with the respective stake holders on significant issues or developments observed during day to day monitoringDocument all work performed via guidelines in approved procedures and appropriate playbook via provided digital tools;Actively manage customer phone support requestsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Energy Technologies, Operations or Computer Science from an accredited College or University OR ( an Associate’s Degree from an accredited College OR University with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical role) OR (High School Diploma / GED with 4 years of experience in a technical role)Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screenMust be willing to work out of an office on a 24/7 rotating shift structureAbility and willingness to take initiativeStrong Communications skills both verbally and written in EnglishAbility to sit or stand for extended periods of time.Required skill set – Technical troubleshooting experience; effective communicator; analytical and detail oriented; preferred but not required: Prefers someone with Engineering troubleshootingQualities/skillsGood communication, detail oriented, technical experience. Associates in field is acceptable.Notes:Work shift (days/times) – 7pm-7am EST 3 days a week, and 4 hours on overnight between Wed-Thurs. shifts run from Sunday through Wed or Wed 7 PM - Saturday 7 AMVIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
