Job SummaryLead efforts to provide technical and leadership support to the Operation Centers requiring demonstrated interpersonal skills, problem solving, evaluation, and business case development and implementation. Assist with mentoring local leadership and working with key stakeholders to facilitate the completion of strategic operation activities, e.g. long term sourcing, annual Work Force Transition Plan, Work Plan, Operating Budget, etc. Work closely with key partners that support or are supported by the Op Centers/Functions to ensure communication and implementation of safety initiatives are complete and effective.Responsibilities:
Essential FunctionsLead process improvement projects/teams focusing on Work Execution, Employee Engagement, Development and Performance Management, and Continuous Improvement and Standardization as needed.Deliver subject matter expertise in collaboration with operations management to implement initiatives that achieve strategic objectivesEnsure coordination of field operations compliance programs, including monitoring and evaluating for compliance with Policies/Procedures and federal/state regulationsAnalyze, recommend and implement solutions as needed to address operational problemsEvaluate operations to ensure compliance to State/Federal regulations and Policy/Procedure, including enforcement of Company safety procedures.Foster internal customer satisfactionTeam with leaders throughout the organization to help identify/assist in development of common training initiativesLead, participate and ensure compliance in the design and rollout of new operations technologies, processes, and policies.There will be no oversight of any employees the position is a support role to the manager.Required Qualifications For PositionExperience utilizing operations support systems, including WMS and DIS (or equivalent)4-6 years Five years’ experience in natural gas distribution field operationsExperienced in data gathering & analysisExperience with PC based systems, including Word and Excel, to create memos and spreadsheets containing basic mathematical formulas.Working knowledge of plant/service operations policies and procedures, and applicable federal, state and local codes/regulations.Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills that result in clear, concise, and positive communicationsStrong problem solving and decision-making skillsDemonstrated skill in independently organizing, scheduling and planning workDemonstrated success with initiating action.Demonstrated facilitation skillsPreferred Additional Qualifications for PositionExperienced with the effective delivery of training & evaluation programsSupervisory experience or demonstrated leadership skills.Experience in leading project management teamsNotes:Position is fully onsite8:00 AM - 5:00 PMMon - Fri
