Position Overview



The client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Order Processing Specialist to support accurate and timely order management from entry through fulfillment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with sales teams, cross-functional partners, and customers to investigate open orders, allocate products, resolve order blocks, and ensure orders move efficiently through the fulfillment process.

The ideal candidate is naturally curious, enjoys solving complex problems, and thrives when digging into data to uncover root causes. They are comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and multiple business systems, with SAP experience preferred, and have a strong desire to learn new technologies and processes. This individual will work across multiple systems, reports, and business functions to drive operational excellence, improve order flow, and resolve issues impacting fulfillment. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities are essential, along with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to recognize, escalate, and resolve issues to support an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage customer orders and product allocations from entry through fulfillment.
Investigate order blocks and determine root causes impacting order movement and fulfillment.
Perform data cleanup and maintenance activities to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency.
Work within systems such as SAP, Qlik, Excel, Winshuttle, and other business applications to support daily operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Order Management, Supply Chain, Sales, Logistics, Customer Service, and Operations.
Support system testing, process improvement initiatives, and operational projects as assigned.
Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Proactively engage with customers to educate them on processes and available service offerings.
Develop expertise in multiple business systems and continuously expand knowledge of organizational processes.
Foster a positive team environment while supporting an excellent customer experience.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
0–3 years of experience in customer service, data analysis, order management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working with order processing, reporting tools, or large data sets preferred.
Strong computer proficiency, including Windows applications; advanced Excel skills required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including prior phone-based customer interaction.
Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Team-oriented, flexible, reliable, and supportive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with SAP, Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, Winshuttle, or similar business systems preferred.
Customer-focused mindset with strong collaboration skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Comfortable working independently while collaborating across multiple teams.
Ability to quickly learn and navigate new technologies and systems.

Notes:
Hybrid Schedule: Our team works from home on Mondays and Fridays and collaborates in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
