The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for scheduling, planning, and executing assigned client direct programs clinics. Execution involves managing and developing program partners and coordinating teams of volunteers. Under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Direct Programs, the Outreach Coordinator leads clinics, projects, and works as a team to successfully deliver program activities. This role also has the combined responsibility for supporting employee engagement tasks and inventory management, under the generalPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Plan and execute the events from the scheduled stage while working closely with the client staff, business partners, and other partnering organizations to ensure success.Serve as expert and focal point for events.Serve as on-site manager at any of the events to handle complex issues and questions as needed. Be prepared to step-in to any role at the event.Work with the client business partners to manage best practices to attain maximum benefit of the event.Deliver quality eye care by establishing and enforcing organization standards and proceduresMaintain partnerships and adhere to clinic preparation standards to ensure operational excellence.Manage risks and issues and take corrective measurements.Responsible for completion of all clinic stations (check-in, pre-test, product selection, manufacturing, and dispensing).Report and track any maintenance or equipment issues immediately to the Operations teamLead check-in of completed glasses orders from the lab and post-clinic dispensing.Lead volunteer training and management at assigned clinics.Responsible for driving mobile clinic (sprinter van) for client clinics and set-up/breakdown at clinic location.Support product and supply inventory for vision clinics; coordinate ongoing orders with Operations teamSupport inventory and organization of volunteer engagement items in warehouse.Ensure mobile clinic (sprinter van) stays on the required maintenance schedule as directed and scheduled by the Operations team.Support timely and accurate reporting of the client metrics and activities to stakeholders by ensuring timely and accurate data entry.Support employee engagement activities under the direction and guidance of Engagement Lead.Support planning and execution of disaster relief activities as they arise.Actively upholds the shared values, code of ethics, and professionalism of the clientOther duties as assigned that will result in the Foundation achieving its KPIs.EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:Required:BS or equivalent work experienceValid license and a clean driving record requiredIndividual must clear a thorough background check and driving records evaluation.Optometric or Ophthalmic clinic practice experience is requiredHighly developed and effective verbal and written communication skills - Dual language preferredAble to work with all levels of employees and managementAble to direct onsite volunteers and providersHighly adaptable and able to effectively prioritize workloadAbility to work weekend hours and non-traditional hours (before or after normal working hours) with notice.Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time.PC Proficiency required - Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.Desired:Optical, healthcare, and/or retail industry experience strongly preferred.Nonprofit experience.Class B driver's license or ability to pass written and practical examination.Strong cultural acuity and ability to work effectively across diverse populations.Required levels/ Years of Experience education – discuss whether there is flexibility:Optical, healthcare, and/or retail experience desiredPHYSICAL DEMANDS:The tasks of this position generally requires duties to be performed by:Regularly stand/walk for duration of shift.Frequently lift and move 25 lbs to shoulder height unaccompanied.Occasionally required to stoop, climb, or balance.Coordinated use of hands and fingers to grasp, feel objects, transfer small items from one hand to another, fine manipulation, and bilateral reach with arms.Use of close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Adhere to the established dress code and safety requirements.Notes:100% onsite, some travel to offsiteWork hours: 8hr days (from 8am - 5:00 pm)
