Pension Calculations Specialist

Job Description

This assignment will be responsible for calculating pension and related benefits.

Duties include:

Benefit Calculations: Accurately process complex retirement, survivor, and account adjustments.
Data & Compliance: Ensure data integrity and apply IRS regulations to all payouts and reporting.
Analysis: Research and verify financial transactions, reporting systems, and ember information.
Member Support: Communicate with employers to verify documents and resolve inquiries.
System Management: Utilize computer systems to retrieve data and process payments outside standard systems.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Financial Expertise: Knowledge of the client statutes, IRS regulations, and automated disbursement systems.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel and relational databases.
Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities for high-volume, deadline-driven work.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills for professional correspondence.
Some college preferred but not required

Position will be remote but will need to come in the office as needed
