The candidate is accountable for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing our PeopleSoft Financials applications and associated integrations. This individual will have strong analytical and communication skills to effectively work with the accounting users and leaders to create technical solutions within PeopleSoft.. The successful candidate will work directly with colleagues at all levels of the Enterprise across a matrixed organization, and will be adept at navigating corporate structures and team dynamics. Key Responsibilities:This role is responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining PeopleSoft Financials applications to meet business needs and requires technical and functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials (AP, GL, AM, PeopleSoft Security Administration)This role is responsible for configuring system settings and testing functionality within Oracle PeopleSoft, as well as analyzing existing processes and implementing innovative solutions to support finance teamsThis role functions as a subject matter expert on PeopleSoft functionality to assist users in researching and resolving business process issues as well as streamlining business processes.Enhance and optimize existing functionality using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, and Application EngineUtilize strong SQL programming skills to support and enhance PeopleSoft applications, ensuring data accuracy and performanceAssist with data cleanup and system maintenance activitiesIdentify, analyze, and resolve technical issues related to PeopleSoft Financials applicationsWork proactively to minimize disruptions and maintain application performancePartner with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirementsParticipate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system functionalityProvide support during system rollouts and ensure a smooth transition for end users Required Experience / Qualifications:3+ years of hands-on experience with Peoplesoft 9.2 and integrated development environments including PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Designer, DataMover, Configuration Manager, Application Engines, SQR, SQL, nVision3+ years of finance experience or equivalent experience5+ years of hands-on software trouble shooting experienceWorking technical knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: Component Interface, Integration Broker, BI Publisher, Data Warehousing, COBOL or any other PeopleSoft technical areaProficient in MS Office toolsProven analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to conduct research into software-related issues and productsAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks and coordinate multiply projects simultaneouslyAbility to work both independently and in a team-orientated, collaborative environment Desired Experience / Qualifications:University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline preferredExperience with tools such as Peoplesoft, Clarity PPM, JIRA, etc. preferredA strong desire to learn Notes:Onsite/HybridContract to HireVIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
