The client is seeking a Server/Database Administrator to support the client's ERP PeopleSoft Financials application. The Server/Database Administrator will work on upgrading PeopleSoft application from Image 21 to Image 52. The client will also support migrating PeopleSoft application and web tier from Redhat 7.x to Redhat 9.x, this includes designing and sizing the architecture. The Server/Database Administrator will act as a system administrator and will assist with production support, administer, configure, monitor, document, analyze, and troubleshoot the PeopleSoft architecture including software, servers, databases, and related third-party tools. In addition, the Server/Database Administrator will assist with projects related to PeopleSoft, including integration activities with other applications. The Server/Database Administrator will assist the PeopleSoft support staff, working directly with the other database and system administrators, developers, and the functional teams.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the client's ERP PeopleSoft Financials production and test/dev environments, as well as the continued design, development, enhancement, build, migration, patch, and test activities. Prepare for and build new instances and perform refreshes and upgrades.
Administer, configure, monitor, document, analyze, and troubleshoot the PeopleSoft architecture including software, servers, databases, and related third-party tools. Assist with evaluating additional functionality and tools and using current functionality and tools in other ways to increase the benefits of the application for the client;
Support the team's ongoing activities such as the PeopleSoft Image upgrade from 21 to 52, Linux upgrade to RedHat 9, PeopleTools upgrade to 8.62, STAT upgrade to 7.0,
Oracle Database upgrade to 23c.Support the client's ERP PeopleSoft Financials production application, currently version 9.2, as well as its continued development, testing, analysis, issue resolution, and integration with a primary focus on the Purchasing module, but also with other PeopleSoft modules and related applications;
Assist with evaluating additional functionality and using current functionality in other ways to increase the benefits of the application for the client, especially the Acquisitions Management staff;
Assist staff with year-end activities, monitoring, processing, troubleshooting, reporting, and reconciling Purchasing activity, especially as it interacts with General Ledger, Commitment Control, and other modules;
Support the client's implementation of a Contract Management solution using PeopleSoft’s Supplier Contract Management and Strategic Sourcing.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge and experience supporting the following as a system administrator: Oracle 19c, PeopleSoft Financials 9.2, and tools 8.61/8.62.
Strong background in installation, configuration and administration of PeopleSoft 9.2 on Linux.
Knowledge and experience installing, patching, upgrading Appsian SSO product.
Knowledge and experience patching and upgrading PeopleSoft Financials and PeopleTools.
PeopleSoft Financials modules: General Ledger, Commitment Control, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable/Billing, and Asset Management, Contract Management.
Oracle Enterprise Manager
Using Stat, version control and change management software, to migrate change between PeopleSoft instances
Integrating PeopleSoft with Okta security Suite.
Integrating PeopleSoft with Oracle EPM.
Oracle Database 23c
PeopleSoft installation on RedHat Enterprise Linux
PeopleSoft Performance monitoring using Dynatrace
