Position Overview


Position Summary
As a Pharmacy Technician in a growing segment of healthcare, home infusion services, you will work with cutting edge technology compounding specialized and complex therapies that are administered to patients in their homes.


Key responsibilities
Product preparation, compounding sterile products, and maintaining the pharmacy clean room suite to 797 requirements.
Documentation of IV admixture and clean room suite sterility testing.
Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist.
Inventory management and storage, complete appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and reports.
Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.

Essential Qualifications
Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT)-If required by state

Duties
Qualifications and Skills

National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
Eligible for state registration, certification, or licensure in accordance with state regulations.
Proficient in basic computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheet software.
Excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
Strong mathematical and calculation skills.
Demonstrated accuracy and efficiency in data entry, with a focus on maintaining 100% data entry quality

Collects and inputs prescription information, ensuring adherence to pharmacy protocols and legal requirements.
Ensures compliance with pharmacy regulations, laws, and guidelines, including patient confidentiality, controlled substance regulations, and prescription labeling requirements.
Prioritizes tasks, manages customer queues, and communicates effectively with other pharmacy personnel to ensure efficient and timely service.



Experience
3 Months Pharmacy Experience. Please make sure candidates know this is 100% data entry.


Education
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.

Perm: Mon - Thur: 9a - 530p & Fri 8a - 430pm CST Time
Onsite as needed
