Description:Post Silicon Validation EngineerTHE ROLE:Technical, hands-on engineer responsible for AI GPU Card Post-Silicon validation. Domains include PCIe, RAS, virtualization, system manageability, reset and volume validation. This individual will be primarily working with the client validation engineers in test execution, troubleshooting failures, platform setup and construction.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Execute feature enablement and validation testcasesDevelop post-silicon validation infrastructure (software, hardware, automation environment, and lab setup)Debug and drive root-cause analysis for GPU device related issuesCollaborate with cross-functional teams in developing tools to improve GPU device validation and debugPerform misc. lab work including device installation, PCIe/Card/riser-board insertion and minor board reworkPerform data collection using test equipment such as high speed oscilloscope and protocol analyzerReport test progress and document failure analysisREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Experience with data center CPU and GPU architectureFamiliar with using server OS such as Windows Server, Ubuntu, RedHat.Familiar with navigating and configuring system via BIOS.Good at debugging issuesFamiliarity with programming / scripting language (C/C++, Python, Perl, ...)Must be a self-starting team player with excellent communication skills who can work with minimal guidanceStrong verbal and written English communication skillsMinimum Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other technical degree with 3+ years of working experience in design, verification or validation ORAssociate Degree in above mentioned areas with 5+ years of working experience in design, verification or validationPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:Prior client server CPU/GPU experience is preferredUnderstanding of modern x86 microprocessor architecture and Server platform architecture is highly desiredKnowledge on PCIe, RAS, GPU protocol is a plusWorking knowledge of high end oscilloscope and protocol analyzer a plusTop Must HavesPost-Silicon ValidationPCIeRASResetSystem ManageabilityNotes:100% Onsite with some flexibility VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
