Description:Preventive Maintenance Technician(ARMO Support)The Preventive Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine inspections and low level preventive maintenance on specialized testing equipment, including the Weetech W424 machine. This role supports equipment reliability and accuracy by conducting visual inspections, basic mechanical adjustments, and essential electrical measurements. The technician ensures that all equipment remains in proper working condition to support safe and efficient operations.Key responsibilities:Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on testing machines and related equipmentInspect housings, sealing surfaces, and components for wear, damage, or contamination to maintain sealing integrityOperate the Weetech W424 machine to perform leakage and continuity testing following established proceduresUse voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to obtain accurate electrical measurementsConduct basic mechanical tasks, including replacing O rings, seals, and other external tool componentsDocument inspection findings and maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance systemFollow all safety protocols and wear required PPE during maintenance tasksAssist in troubleshooting minor equipment issues and escalate complex problems to senior techniciansSkills & Competencies:Solid understanding of basic mechanical systems and component functionAbility to perform accurate electrical measurements using voltmeters and related diagnostic toolsFamiliarity with preventive maintenance practices and inspection techniquesCompetence in operating specialized testing equipment, including the Weetech W424 (or willingness to learn)Strong attention to detail when inspecting sealing surfaces, housings, and mechanical componentsAbility to read and follow technical procedures, maintenance instructions, and equipment documentationBasic troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify minor issues and escalate complex problems appropriatelyGood organizational and documentation skills for recording maintenance activities in computerized systemsCommitment to safety, including proper use of PPE and adherence to maintenance safety protocolsAbility to work independently while maintaining clear communication with senior technicians and supervisorsEssential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies)Basic computer skills for operating test equipment and recording data.Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and measurement specifications.Familiarity with hand tools and basic mechanical repair techniques.Understanding of electrical measurement using voltmeters.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.Tools or Software (Required / Preferred)Previous experience with preventive maintenance or electrical testing equipmentEducation Qualifications (Required / Preferred)High School Diploma or GEDWork Environment:Fast paced and noisy environment with constant movement.Regular lifting and/or moving up to to 50 lbs.
