Principal Software engineer – User Interface
Day to Day:
Primarily focused on the web UI development. Contractor will design and develop a web UI component for the feature. Coming up with a design given a feature, coding to the requirements of the features and working with SQA to make sure bugs are fixed in a timely manner. will work with other member of the Development team. The day-to-day activities will involve so I can get a little bit more into detail about the technology. will work from the integration from the back end. The back end is in Java. Looking for a contractor that can pick up things and start developing quickly. Will work with state management.
Must haves:
Knowledge in angular and material design- philosophy and the UI components.
Knowledge in Cypress.
Knowledge in Rest Interface
Contractor will need to have prior work experience
Good to haves:
Knowledge of monoreapo and NX
Experience in developing shared libraries that can be used across multiple modules.
Knowledge of D3.js
8+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
Material Design 3.0
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
Proven experience building complete web-based UI applications.
Background in developing UIs for large-scale distributed enterprise or cloud-hosted systems.
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, HTML, and SCSS.
Strong experience with state management frameworks like Redux/ngRx.
Solid understanding of REST APIs and how to build UI applications that leverage them.
Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in distributed teams.
Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with Java and the Spring framework.
Experience with Nx monorepos.
Knowledge of D3.js
Exposure to Telecom/Cable network management applications.
Experience with browser-based test automation frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium.
Comfort working in Linux environments.
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Notes:
Prefers in onsite contractor, can be hybrid. Open to Remote, will work EST.
Hours: 9am-5pm EST.
