Description:Manages, facilitates and implements process improvement projects within a single process or a limited number of processes which are moderately complex and not limited in scope, depth, problem solving and degree of skill required. Work and decisions may be reviewed and guided by more experienced Process Professionals.Duties:Applies process methodologies, tools and measurement systems including IMPACT, six sigma, change management tools, financial analysis and decision tools to achieve business results. Applies basic data tools to analyze problems for improving the identified processes. Provides knowledge of business processes, rules and practices. Facilitates the definition, clarification and documentation of such, in support of tactical and strategic business plans and in alignment with continuous improvement efforts. Leads project teams toward definition and implementation of new process/solution. Exhibits strong organizational, communication and documentation skills. Works with the project team leader and others to ensure objectives of improvement teams are met. Documents and reports team efforts and progress and validates that team results endure after project closure. Solves problems through analysis of issues and evaluation of alternative solutions.This role will manage the root cause corrective action process for new product development activities.Support product development teams – attend meetings, support experimental builds, etc. Facilitates various issue review meetings (not limited to build issue reviews, field test reviews, design reviews), leading progress monitoring meetings and following up with issue owners as needed and validate that closure of issues are robust and complete. Includes regular progress reports to various audiences.Manage the Change Control for all supported programs – 5-6 hours per week depending upon volume of CCs submitted for the week. Manage NCCA process for all programs – including meetings, daily review, communications on progress, report generation, entry – 10 - 15 hours per week.Manage SharePoint Issues – including meetings, daily review, communications on progress, report generation, entry – 10 - 15 hours per week Support Builds (DB, LPB and SOP) - Depending upon schedule – capture action items, enter in system, and follow up/report outDesign Review (PDP and CI)/Virtual RQAs, DFMEAs (when needed) - set up, facilitate, all followup of the action items documented for each program. Depending upon where we are in our program phases – this can be anywhere from 1 – 10 hours per week. Scheduling, facilitation & Follow Up – Notes, understand the product lines, follow up.
