Process/Project Engineers:

Job Responsibilities and Site Travel: engineers will work a 40-hour week and will be required to travel to construction sites. Their primary responsibilities will include managing contractors, executing project requests, and performing job walks.

Objective:
We are seeking 3 experienced Chemical/Process Project Engineers for a 1 to 2-year contract. These engineers will support alarm management, projects, maintenance, reliability, and process safety management activities across key regional sites. These activities listed below will enable client's vision of automation and remote operations increasing productivity, reliability and safety at our facilities.

Core Responsibilities:
Alarm Management: Evaluate process alarms against established guidance documentation. Conduct site audits with Technical experts to verify that critical alarms are correctly configured in both the DCS and call-out systems, and assist with managing the integration of critical alarms into designated notification platforms.
Projects: Lead and manage small to medium-size local capital projects to improve efficiency, reliability, safety, and product line expansion. Provide workscope for facility through Management of Change Process. Manage contractors executing workscopes and provide updates to upper management as needed. Responsibilities include scope development, engineering and equipment estimates, schedule and budget adherence, and managing Factory/Site Acceptance Tests and startups. Typically >$500kUSD budget. Maintenance & Reliability: Provide support to regional reliability and maintenance groups for system changes and upgrades. Update or create job plans in CMMS if required. Assist with gap closure for RCA actions.
Process Safety Management (PSM): Drive Management of Change (MOC) processes from initiation to closure for plant and process changes. Address, track, and close out open action items related to IMS events, audits, and safety findings across the designated sites.
Operating Discipline: Assist with creating and updating key operating documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions. Support client's vision of remote operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) or above in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
Relevant industry experience will be acceptable in lieu of an Engineering degree
Experience: 1 to 3+ years of experience in process, production, or project engineering within process industries (e.g., Chemical industry, cryogenic air separation, Steam Methane Reformers, Refining).
Work Style: Must be a solution-focused individual and a self-starter with the ability to perform well under pressure and manage changing priorities (multitasker).
Collaboration: Able to effectively work within a diverse organization, follow instructions from multiple teams (HSE, Quality, Maintenance, SCM), and communicate concisely with stakeholders at multiple levels.
Technical Skills: Proficient in reading P&IDs, troubleshooting, root cause investigation, and familiar with process hazard analysis (HAZOP).
