Job Overview:

  • Contractors will review all submitted documentation for completeness and accuracy, work with applicants to resolve issues where possible and calculate or deny funding.

Responsibilities and Duties

Tasks include but not limited to:

  • Process applicant information for the client funding requests to ensure compliance and identify potential issues.
  • Conduct reviews to verify that eligible services and healthcare providers receive funding in accordance with federal regulations.
  • Collect documentation for reports and analyses related to funding requests.
  • Process assigned applications timely and accurately.
  • Adhere to established business processes and procedures to ensure program compliance and accurate application processing.
  • Continuously develop and review internal program procedures to enhance operational efficiency and maintain compliance with program requirements.
  • Utilize data for informed programmatic decisions, identifying trends, and effectively managing work queues and volumes.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track the resolution of open issues, escalating as necessary to management.
  • Review and update project status communications and maintain project checklists.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess needs, establish priorities, and coordinate program efforts.
  • Contribute to identifying and implementing continuous process improvements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and/or university
  • Utilize analytical and critical thinking skills to resolve complex or confusing issues
  • Execute projects based on established guidelines, while engaging in continuous process improvement
  • Prepare and deliver information in a concise, professional written format
  • Be analytical and can make informed decisions quickly and manage multiple work streams
  • Enjoy working in teams, including cross-functional interaction with varied departments

Hybrid Schedule - 2 days per week onsite
