Position Overview


Description:

Procurement Analyst - Innovation & Commercialization (PFUS)

High-level Overview

The Innovation & Commercialization team provides end-to-end North America (NA) Procurement support for the client Innovation launches (raw material sourcing, end to end cross functional collaboration, speed to market and risk mitigation) and operates as the point of contact for Procurement throughout the commercialization process. This role is critical to ensure internal communication flows across all stakeholders, and suppliers are prepared and ready for the client Innovation projects launched annually.

Role Responsibilities

Stock Code Management & support for all new business proposals (BPs) submitted via Cornerstone for Quaker BU
Complete an average of 30-50 tasks weekly in Cornerstone related to supplier identification, stock code links, and/or creation
Weekly Review of all Quaker Co-Pack Vendor Models forecast vs. inventory
Update and maintain Materials Guide
Submit overall general material orders to vendors
Process PA / MN from a packaging perspective
Help PA / MN packaging set up with production planners & vendors
Make sure basic information concerning packaging is clearly defined in the Summary of Action section of BPs
Communicate to project owners any concerns or delays with processing tasks in Cornerstone
Document processes, deliverables and schedules for multiple projects

Qualifications (Critical to success capabilities):

Priority Setting: Has a high capacity for managing multiple projects simultaneously and cross-functionally; can eliminate roadblocks and create focus
Strong Communication: Comfortable and effective communication (verbal and written) with internal and external stakeholders across levels, including senior leadership
Highly Collaborative: Works well with others to achieve results and keeps team/stakeholders informed to avoid unnecessary surprises
Data Analysis: Able to complete tasks quickly and communicate risks and roadblocks clearly heavy data analytics
