Job Description


Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Procurement professional to join our Category Management team. In this role, you will support efforts to ensure the highest-quality parts are sourced and delivered on time, at the lowest total cost, from the right strategic supplier partners. You will play a key role in daily procurement operations including competitive pricing analysis, supplier selection, vendor master maintenance, and purchased-part attribute analysis to drive cost reduction and mitigate supply risks.
Your work will directly support global category strategies for semiconductor and electro-mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities
Support execution of category strategies for semiconductor and electro-mechanical components
Conduct competitive pricing analysis to ensure best-value sourcing decisions
Assist with supplier selection and onboarding in partnership with Category Managers
Maintain vendor master data with accuracy and completeness
Analyze purchased-part attributes to identify cost-reduction opportunities and mitigate supply-chain risks
Communicate regularly with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, quality issues, and performance updates
Monitor market trends and supply conditions to support strategic decision-making
Partner with engineering, operations, and quality to align sourcing needs
Track and report key procurement metrics related to cost, delivery, and supplier performance

Main Responsibilities

Data uploads/extracts from systems (pricing, part attributes, etc.)

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or category management preferred
Knowledge of semiconductor or electro-mechanical components is a plus
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication and supplier-management capabilities
Proficiency with ERP systems and vendor master data; experience with procurement tools is a plus
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Skills
Experience supporting global or multi-site category strategies
Familiarity with cost-analysis methods and total cost-of-ownership (TCO) evaluations
Understanding of supply-risk mitigation and supplier-performance management
