Job Summary:
The Procurement Technician will support the increasing administrative and operational demands of the Procurement Unit. This position supports the client purchasing activities through requisition processing, solicitation and contract support, contract tracking, research, reporting, and procurement card administration, while serving as a point of coordination for internal and external stakeholders. The position also helps ensure efficient, compliant, and uninterrupted procurement operations, and allows other procurement staff to focus on higher-level responsibilities.

Job Duties:
Utilizes spreadsheets and the client Procurement Portal to support purchasing activities, supplier research, and requisition processing
Assists with routine purchasing activities such as approving requisitions
Serves as backup support to procurement staff for system-related tasks as needed
Provides administrative and technical support to internal stakeholders regarding use of the client's e-procurement system and procurement processes
Performs administrative duties in support of Procurement staff and client programs including research, special projects, and report preparation, and document coordination

Requirement:
Experience working on Microsoft Teams and Google Suite
Purchasing or Procurement experience

Preferred:
ADOBE and Smart Sheets experience
