As a Planning and Reliability Engineer, you will develop and execute test plans and processes for the Riding Lawn Equipment PVV (product verification &validation) Department. In addition, you will:Plan and coordinate testing and analysis work for design projects varying in complexity from component only to complete development programs.Operate in a team environment within PV&V (Product Verification and Validation) and the Design Engineering communityLead and execute comprehensive PV&V plans encompassing virtual analysis, laboratory testing, and field validation, coordinated across appropriate swim lanes to ensure timely completion of all activities.Coordinate, assign, and review work done by PV&V engineers, lab technicians, and mechanics for evaluation of machine performance/reliability to product specifications.Provides technical support to marketing, product engineering, manufacturing, quality and supply management functional areas.What Skills You NeedBachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering or equivalent knowledge.Technical experience with development and/or verification testing of productsStrong problem-solving and project management skills.Demonstration of being a self-directed individual with excellent organizational skillsAbility to interpret, analyze, and present technical information using practical judgmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsWhat Makes You Stand OutExperience with data analysis and/or product verification/validation testingKnowledge of Riding Lawn Equipment and their applicationsExperience with systematic corrective action processes (PDCA, 8D, 5 Why, etc.)Activities: Software Test, Vehicle Test, PS&C, VDV, Lab, and Field Test activities across these programs.Top skillsets:Proficiency in Excel (Must show demonstrated in their work history)Strong organizational skillsSelf-StarterProject Mgmt experienceStrong problem-solving skillsTalent will be managing testing programs, not performing actual testing, but will work with Design, VDV and Lab test engineersTracking program, critical analysis, working with design team and communicating with all parties on program process.Notes:Shift hours: Core 7:30 AM – 4:00 PMMetatarsals needed(May need to be on floor from time to time)
