Assemble and inspect small optical components in a fast-paced production environment. This role involves working with precision hand tools, performing soldering tasks, and ensuring high standards of safety and quality.Responsibilities:Assemble small optical parts using hand toolsPerform soldering and follow detailed work instructionsInspect components to ensure quality standards are metMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaCollaborate with team members to meet production goalsQualifications:Experience with small parts or precision assemblyBasic soldering skills (or willingness to be trained)Strong attention to detailAbility to work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environmentCommitment to safety and qualityMust be able to read, write and use basic math; maintain a high degree of accuracy in performing repetitive task; work with basic chemicalsPhysical Requirements:Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing detailed assembly work.Manual dexterity to handle small components and precision tools.Visual acuity for inspecting small parts and identifying imperfections.Work Environment:Production floor environment requiring use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Fast-paced, team-oriented setting with a focus on continuous improvement and quality.This will be a combination of Assembly (90%) and Material Handling (10%)Notes:1st Shift Hours: 7AM-3:30PM OT required based on business needs.
