Position Overview


JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary

This role will support a cross-functional initiative focused on compliance with the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Section 204 Food Traceability Rule. This role will partner with internal teams and external food vendors to facilitate onboarding, review required traceability documentation, and help ensure vendors meet regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate vendor onboarding activities related to the FDA Food Traceability Rule (FSMA 204).
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are completed on time.
Gather, review, and validate vendor documentation for compliance with FSMA 204 requirements.
Communicate findings and provide clear, actionable feedback to vendors regarding documentation deficiencies or required updates.
Track project progress, identify risks or issues, and escalate concerns with recommended solutions when appropriate.
Monitor project activities using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
Maintain accurate project documentation, status reports, and communication plans.
Support multiple workstreams while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Must Have

Must have Knowledge of FSMA 204 regulation, be comfortable using Microsoft office suite, SharePoint, Smartsheet. Be detail oriented, and a clear communicator.

Nice To Have

Familiar with EDI 856 data transmissions and GS1-128 barcodes and know how to review for compliance with FSMA 204.
