SUMMARY:

The Project Coordinator works closely with Project Managers and Master Schedulers to comply with project schedules, resources deployments and provides all essential information to field service personnel to execute projects. This includes deployment of equipment, all drawings and installation processes to support project execution

Major Responsibilities:
Essential Functions (Job Duties and Responsibilities):

• Assist Project Managers (PM) in booking all travel for contract personnel.
• Work with Master Scheduler to develop installation schedules
• Maintain documentation files on MS Teams
• Forecasts remaining work on active projects, and resources required to complete within budget.
• Updates active project schedules for task completeness, resource usage and cost usage for contract specified periods.
• Administers Primavera P6, Primavera Contract Manager and/or SharePoint site for Project Management and assists with training of Project Management personnel on the software.
• Provides technical support for Project Management department.
• Assists the project manager with the analysis, research, and documentation for claim preparation, time impact delays and/or time extension submittal requirements for active projects and writes necessary narrative within confines of contract requirements and legal constraints.
• Attends project and industry-related meetings, as required.
• Functions as a contributing member of the department's team and other teams, as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with Field Techs, verbally and in writing
• Follow-up correspondence in writing (email primarily)
• Responsive to returning phone calls in a timely manner
• Communicate with factories and suppliers
• Communicate with installation subcontractors
• Track outstanding submittal packages
• Special projects as required

Education/Experience/Licenses etc.:
Knowledge-Skills-Abilities (Competencies):
• Strong customer interface and professional presentation
• Proven ability to establish and build strong customer relationship

Required Education and Experience:
• BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent technical experience or combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.
• Minimum 2-3 years Primavera P6 and MS Projects scheduling experience in complex projects and resource loading complex CPM schedules

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
• This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. and as warranted by the needs of the operations

Travel:
• This position requires up to 25% travel, as needed.
