PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
The Project Manager for Web Services Change Management & Project Implementation is responsible for driving organizational adoption of new digital tools, processes, and design systems while ensuring successful execution of key web initiatives.
This role focuses on project-level leadership and change management, supporting the rollout of client’s new Figma UI/UX library, the implementation of enterprise search tool, and supporting WCAG 2.2 accessibility compliance. This role will serve as a bridge between OIT, MarCom, and business stakeholders, ensuring smooth transitions, technical alignment, and user adoption across multiple digital projects.
The ideal candidate blends expertise in change management, project coordination, and digital implementation, ensuring client ’s web ecosystem evolves effectively, consistently, and with measurable impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Change Management & Adoption
Lead change management efforts for web-related projects, ensuring stakeholders understand, adopt, and sustain new systems and processes.
Develop communication and training plans to support adoption of the new style library and accessibility practices.
Reinforce governance standards, address resistance to change, ensuring smooth project rollouts.
Project Execution & Web Initiatives
Provide project-level support for the implementation of client’s new enterprise search solution.
Support integration of the new style library across WordPress templates, web components, and digital platforms.
Support the consolidation of WordPress websites into a unified theme
Work with cross-functional teams (MarCom, OIT, business owners) to align timelines, deliverables, and project outcomes.
Drive and coordinate WCAG 2.2 accessibility compliance across college and district sites.
Assist with day-to-day needs to Web Services and MarCom teams
Collaboration & Governance
Partner with MarCom and OIT to ensure projects follow governance, accessibility, and brand guidelines.
Help define workflows, governance policies, and standards for consistent application across client’s web ecosystem.
Act as a point of contact between technical developers, UX designers, and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
Contribute to project documentation, training resources, and governance frameworks.
Build documentation, training guides, SOPs and related documentation of projects and initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, Communications, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience/certifications.
Experience
3+ years of experience in project management, change management, or digital transformation projects.
Experience coordinating technical and non-technical teams in complex organizations (higher education experience a plus).
Demonstrated success in leading adoption of new tools, processes, or systems.
Technical Skills
Familiarity with enterprise search solutions, accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2, ADA), and digital governance.
Working knowledge of CMS platforms (WordPress preferred) and content publishing workflows.
Understanding of web design systems, component libraries, and UX/UI best practices.
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Asana, Jira, Trello, or similar).
Knowledge of accessibility auditing tools and compliance frameworks.
Soft Skills
Strong facilitation and communication skills, able to translate technical details for non- technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
Collaborative, diplomatic, and comfortable navigating organizational complexity.
Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
WORK CONDITIONS
Remote Work: Must have a stable internet connection with a minimum speed of 300 Mbps.
Hours: Full-time position, with potential for flexible scheduling to accommodate project timelines. Works 9–5 pm CST.
Higher Ed experience is preferred.
