Job Description


Job Purpose
This position is responsible for managing highly complex enterprise-wide set of programs; being accountable for tracking end-to-end delivery of multiple complex programs. These include 10+ catalogs, more than 60 populations, hundreds of quality measures, member enrollment status, regulatory HEDIS requirements, multiple Medicaid specialty measure sets and an increasing number of Value Based Care programs (growing in specialty customization, as well as other custom quality measure sets). Developing and maintaining a granular tracking mechanism to enable the successful implementation and execution of program requirements.
Provide a strong blend of technical and business acumen to drive the design, development, and implementation of complex program operations. Build a sufficient level of knowledge, based upon requirements, to enable feasible delivery and assess conflicts with other projects. Adjust scope, timing and resources as needed, based on the needs of the program. Responsible for driving, deliverables, and activities by escalating risk/issues, building consensus, and driving decisions and recommending adjustments to program team and leadership.

Job Responsibilities
Oversight and execution of assigned program requirements and leading the effective and efficient delivery of monthly regulatory and custom reporting.
Accountable for detailed measure tracking and maintenance of program schedules.
Provide consultation on how best to deliver the programs including options to mitigate and/or resolve program issues/risks.
Establish strong program structure from the outset and ensure mechanisms are functioning properly.
Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks; elevate to the proper accountable parties as necessary.
Conduct program planning exercises and create, maintain, and disseminate program information to team, leadership and stakeholders.
Support Data Load team to drive deliverables and activities, remove barriers, and escalate risks/issues.
Ensure projects within programs are delivered on time and to the agreed quality level.
Manage project interdependencies, operational activities and external entities that may impact the programs.
Support Data Load team efforts to meet aggressive timelines.

Required Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of project management and/or IT work experience -OR- 5-7 years managing projects and some experience managing complex programs.
Very strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Understanding of Quality Reporting.
Experience in multi-discipline, high-performance work teams/groups.
Ability to work independently and/or in a fast-paced team environment.
Experience in negotiations and managing conflict.
Good judgment and quick business decisions.
Ability to handle ambiguity, with the agility and flexibility to adapt to constantly changing priorities.
Structured, organized and methodical execution; takes ownership and accountability for outcomes, drives for results and drives certainty in delivery.
Develops trusted relationships and demonstrates interpersonal skills.

Preferred Job Qualifications
Extensive experience in project delivery and working in complex programs.
Health Care or Health Plan experience.
