The client is working on migrating its remaining applications from a legacy mainframe platform to an existing Microsoft platform. Legacy systems include areas in Accounting, Pensions, Disability and Vouchering. The Project Manager (PM) role is critical to the success of the project. The PM will maintain communication with management and product owners along with business analysts to establish required work and timelines using a Minimum Variable Product (MVP) approach to migrate the remaining legacy functionality into the Microsoft platform. Detailed project plans which adhere to the client methodology will be created and continuously updated to ensure project updates can be provided in a timely and consistent manner. The PM will establish and maintain schedules, drive activities, identify risks and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies. This individual will effectively plan deliverables to take advantage and efficiently make use of the team’s resources.
