Job Description
Resource will manage, plan, execute, monitor and control the activities of medium to large information technology projects and teams. They work collaboratively within the division to ensure quality, timely project implementations and business adoption.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage medium to large projects;
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with CSB-IT staff, other staff, and/or contracted resources;
Create, review and maintain project management plans, schedules, meeting agendas and minutes, risk/issue logs and lessons learned at a minimum;
Manage projects according to the approved Governance policies and procedures;
Utilize the Atlassian tool suite to track milestones, tasks, and deliverables against the baseline, taking action to address any variance, and reporting variances and corrective actions to the PMO Manager;
Schedule, prepare for and facilitate project meetings;
Communicate project status to stakeholders, escalate and/or address issues in a timely manner;
Adhere to policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs);
Maintain project artifacts according to the CSB document management strategy;
Support a team atmosphere to promote team productivity;
Support project portfolio maintenance as needed; updated Governance manual policies procedures as assigned;
Work with PMO Manager to establish performance expectations;
Performs related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
5+ years of project management experience
2+ years of experience in managing large, complex multi-year projects;
Advanced knowledge and experience of Microsoft products such as Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Project, and Visio;
Intermediate knowledge Atlassian Tool Suite;
Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce technology;
Thorough knowledge and experience of PMBOK project management practices including cost management, benefit analysis, risk management, resource management and change control;
Thorough knowledge and experience of Agile Project Management and IT governance methodologies, tools and approaches to successful project implementations;
Ability to lead, motivate, encourage and influence others to perform;
Ability to analyze, produce solutions and solve project issues;
Ability to build and maintain relationships across business groups;
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing;
Business Knowledge of IV-D and Child Support Enforcement preferred;
Experience in state government preferred;
PMP preferred;
Agile Certifications preferred;
Scrum Master Certification preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:
Reports to the Director of IT PMO. The Employee will receive guidance from senior-level Business and Technical Manager(s) and may provide guidance and assistance to lower-level Project Manager(s).
Difficulty of Work:
Employee uses considerable judgment in selecting the most pertinent guidelines to follow. Work is broad in scope and requires in-depth analysis of multiple variables to fit various circumstances of a medium to complex enterprise wide system.
Responsibility:
Employee works closely with higher-level staff and/or management to outline general objectives and boundaries that employee will follow to meet the requirements of the client. Unusual problems or deviations from guidelines or practice are discussed with manager at the discretion of the employee. Work is reviewed for attainment of objectives and compliance with policy and practice.
Personal Work Relationships:
Works with Client Executive Management, Information Technology Management, Division Management, Systems Users and Client Personnel, Consultants, Vendors, Contract Staff, Representatives from other Agencies, IOT, and any other individual or group involved with the project. The project manager is responsible for monitoring project progress and communicating that progress to management. The project manager consults and is involved in cooperative and non-cooperative problem solving with the project team and other individuals impacted by the automation project.

Notes:
Hybrid - required to work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
