Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

Infrastructure Technology Modernization

BACKGROUND:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to coordinate projects across our IT Infrastructure teams. The ideal candidate will focus on running a large user migration project, which involves key stakeholders across several IT infrastructure and security teams, as well as IT infrastructure staff in another area of the organization. The ideal candidate will synchronize workstreams across this project, including Windows servers and desktop support, file storage, access management/credentialing, and end user device support, mapping out the project’s lifecycle and serving as central project manager, providing regular status updates and communications to leadership.


REQUIREMENTS:
The candidate shall also demonstrate the below knowledge and experience:

Strong understanding of agile methodologies
Experience coordinating technical teams across multiple IT domains
Proven ability to manage complex infrastructure projects with interdependencies
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with project management tools (Jira, GitLab, etc.)
Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components (networking, servers, cloud services)
Experience with ITIL frameworks and IT Service Management
Experience with change management processes in enterprise environments The Contractor shall deliver, but not limited to, the following:
Develop and maintain a centralized project management framework for all project workstreams
Coordinate cross-functional technical teams to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables
Create and manage project schedules, dependencies, and critical paths for infrastructure deployments
Facilitate regular stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives across technical teams
Manage release cycles and deployment calendars across server, network, and cloud environments
Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers affecting project timelines
Establish standardized communication channels between technical teams and stakeholders
Develop and maintain project documentation, status reports, and dashboards
Serve as the primary point of contact for project status and updates
