Position Overview

Perform visual inspection of parts to ensure conformance to customer specifications
Inspect and gather product documentation, final document packets, material heat reports/certified material test reports (CMTRs) as required.
Communicate quality issues and document nonconformances/defects such as scratches, dents, stains, stitching or finish flaws, and missing or damaged parts
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
Work closely with quality documentation team to provide inspection reports and CMTRs for products to satisfy the customer requirements as required.
Prepare inspection reports that show the details of all tests performed
Support lean activities/initiatives for Quality as required.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols during inspections to promote a secure workplace for all personnel
Assist Warehouse and Quality team to drive customer satisfaction by addressing escaping defects related to picking and packing.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with facility standards

To be successful in this role you will:
Be results driven with a keen eye for detail
Good communication skills.
Working knowledge of valves and actuation
Knowledge in dimensional testing and manufacturing

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1+ years related experience.

Essential Requirements of the Role
Hand tool experience: Calipers, etc.
Dimensional verification, testing and manufacturing experience
1+ years of Valve QC experience

SAP is a plus(ERP knowledge will suffice)
