EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):Two year degree and one year of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High degree of judgment and skill.Reliable self-starting and self-directed nature, exhibiting initiative and focused work ethic.Basic knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy and physiology, sterile technique, patient relations, medical imaging examination preparation, and medical imaging safety and screening procedures.Basic knowledge and skills in the operation of medical imaging systems, 3D reformations, and post-processing procedures.Basic working knowledge of medical imaging physics, principles, tissue contrast, and applications.Familiarity with Unix, Windows, Mac, and/or Linux computer operating systems; experience in MR system operation and troubleshooting system and computer issues.Ability to identify images for post-processing and/or artifacts in the images; ability to respond to detailed requests for views and/or images depicting certain anatomy and/or pathology.Experience in teaching and instruction of technologists, researchers, and/or physicians.Ability to collaborate with other professional colleagues.CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:Must hold one of the following certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), CA Registry of Radiologic Technologists, American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT).Advanced ARRT registry (e.g. CT, MR, etc.) desired.Candidate MUST have ARRT, or AMRIT license as this is requiredTop 3 job requirements: CT or MRI scanning background, adapts quickly, strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomyNotes:Work schedule is either 10pm - 6:30am or midnight to 8:30am40 hours per-week
