Description:Senior Finance ManagerResponsibilities:The responsibilities of the Senior Finance Manager role include but are not limited to:Responsible for supporting Real Estate payments, monthly reconciliation, vendor maintenance and payment issues resolutions. The role will support forecasts, annual operating plans and ad hoc special reporting.Prepare and submit framework purchase ordersMonitor purchase orders and confirm they are set-up properlyReconcile purchase orders and payments with client accountingComplete variance analysisCreating forecast reports for the sectors by cost center/lease lineBalance sheet reviews with controlsAssist in the preparation of month end reporting packages for senior leadershipMaintain internal controls over financial accounting and reporting processes in compliance with client’s requirements. Assist in the identification of risks and implementation of new controls and processes when necessary.Make recommendations for process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.Participate in other strategic finance, account, and business projects as they arise.Responsible for managing the day-to-day duties of the accounts payable team, ensuring all invoices and rent payments are processed in a timely manner in multiple systems.Drive ePayments participation with vendors Responsible for the collection and filing of all vendor W-9’s and annual processing of 1099’s.Have a thorough understanding of internal controls as they relate to AP function.Coordinate billing, payment information, and review invoice or payment discrepanciesPerform vendor outreach, research, and verification of payment discrepancies.Help to ensure strict deadlines are met on a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule.Forecast and AOP real estate expenses (-1,600 leases)Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance or related field.6+ years of real estate industry experience1+ years of supervisor experienceKnowledge of Yardi Vendor Cafe, Procurement and MarketplaceExcellent track record of planning and delivering cost effective resultsPreferred/Desired Qualifications:Proven ability to multi-task, delegate and prioritize tasks.Notes:Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:30PM EST VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
