Description:

The Reasonable Accommodations Partner plays a key role in supporting the Reasonable Accommodations team by managing the initial engagement with colleagues requesting accommodations. This position is responsible for facilitating the intake process and overseeing a variety of tasks related to accommodation requests, including the review of supporting documentation and responding to inquiries.

Additional responsibilities may include leading and engaging in the interactive process with colleagues, applicants, leaders, and Human Resources when a colleague or applicant requests a workplace accommodation to perform the essential functions or to enjoy the benefits and privileges of employment due to a disability, pregnancy/pregnancy related condition, or sincerely held religious belief.

The Reasonable Accommodation Partner ensures compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA/ADAAA), applicable federal and state laws, and company policies as they relate to accommodation requests due to physical or mental impairments, pregnancy or pregnancy-related conditions, religious beliefs, and circumstances involving domestic violence.

Ability to handle sensitive conversations with colleagues regarding their Reasonable Accommodation request. Maintain confidentiality. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must have multitasking skills to manage outbound calls while documenting information received and handling case tasks which may include sending letters to colleagues who have disengaged from the interactive process.
