Regional Finance Controller - ManagerThe client is looking for a Regional Finance Controller for our Logistics organization, the position will be based in client location, but must have the ability to support other regional locations. The manager to be an integral member of a diverse and dynamic team, that offers the chance for you to grow, contribute and learn as far as your growth mindset takes you.Responsibilities:As the Regional Finance Controller, this position is responsible for financial transparency for our operations, which includes but not limited to warehousing & light manufacturing operations, labor-based analysis, new product introduction, capital expenditures, cost savings measures, and activity-based costing. The manager will support multiple business units on multiple levels as well work closely with different countries, such as Mexico, Canada, Germany, etc.Ensures coherence with controlling standards, policies and procedures, adopts respective processes.Monitors financial performance, provides KPI analyzes, and prepares respective performance reporting and forecasts for the distribution center.Ensures planning, monitoring, and reviews of operational budget.Oversees the day-to-day controlling and financial analysis of operations.Data transparency and monitoring that will support operational improvement and efficiency.Manage month end activities including but not limited to data compilation, journal entry preparation and general ledger review.Cost Accounting for products within the distribution center.Ability to automate financial business processesBuild reports via. Tableau, Power BI or other financial tools, etc.Participate in projects and cost improvement initiatives to drive fact-based decisions.Partner with the distribution center management team to drive business improvements and customer satisfaction.Respond to business/management requests for ad hoc reports and analysis.Business forecast projections as needed based on business requirementsSupport adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements in all areas.Contribute to automation and improvement of reporting processes and everyday tasks.Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:All qualified candidates must have at least 10 years of experience inclusive of:Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field10 years of related professional experience – including 3 years of management experienceCost Accounting experience - standard costing with labor and overhead rate calculationAbility to effectively manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentHighly developed analytical skills and detail-orientationTeam-mindset with “we can do it” mentalityTeam player, ability to manage, build, and develop a high-performance financial teamExcellent communication skills (verbal & written)Strong sense of ownershipProven track record in financial analysis to drive fact-based decisionsSAP FICO proficiencyPreferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:Experience with Tableau highly preferredStrong Excel, PowerPoint, MS tools skills, etc.Knowledge of Snowflake and HyperionPrevious experience in business unit or business segment operational financeKey Details:Manufacturing/Distribution environment is a key experience to haveCost Accounting backgroundAble to communicate with staff that supports the siteManagerial Skills required.
