Repair Technician I
Summary:
Seeking a Repair Technician with 1 to 3 years of experience repairing and troubleshooting radio or electronic equipment. Responsibilities include depot repair, upgrades, programming, cleaning equipment, and maintaining documentation such as serial numbers, model numbers, and equipment features.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, and program radio equipment.
Perform depot-level repair and refurbishment activities.
Document serial numbers, model numbers, and equipment configurations.
Use telecommunications test equipment including DVMs, Service Monitors, and Watt Meters.
Follow established procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Highschool or Equivalent. CET Preferred 1 to 3 years of radio, electronics, or telecommunications repair experience.
Familiarity with telecommunications test equipment.
Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to follow detailed procedures and work independently.
Client experience preferred.
Main Responsibilities:
Sorting, Cleaning, Flashing, Repairing Portable and Mobile radios.
Key Contributions:
Complete training: Finish all required compliance courses, product tutorials, and technical setups. Learn workflows: Understand team processes, communication channels, and internal software tools. Handle routine tasks or smaller project assignments without constant oversight.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Must be reliable, possess basic data entry and computer skills, be able to understand verbal and written instructions in English, be mechanically inclined, if not already obtained must be willing and able to pass the Associate level CET and able to pass a Federal Background Investigation.
Software Proficiency:
Prefer Microsoft suite including Excel/Word and Google Suite including Sheets/Docs.

Work Environment & Requirements:
Work Environment: Provide the type of work environment. Office setting, Open technical floor with partitioned work bench stations, heated and air conditioned warehouse.
