Description:The specific job responsibilities of the incumbent are as follows:Reporting to the Principal Scientist, Operations Lead, to execute the laboratory-based clinical research strategy and program at client’s research hub.Lead Phlebotomist working with the investigative team to ensure research program safety standards and development/execution of related SOPs.Assisting in the day-to-day execution of research projects including data collection.Qualifications/RequirementsRegistered nurse or medical technician.Ability and licensed to perform phlebotomy duties, including venous catheterization.Demonstrable knowledge of and following of good clinical practice (GCP) guidelines.One or more years of experience in clinical research.Must have a pro-active work style, able to multitask, and be flexible to work in a high-performance and ever-changing environment.Self-starter with good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with various personalities and work styles.Flexibility and willingness to work during non-traditional hours (e.g., start time before 8:00am or finish time after 5:00pm) as needed depending upon research schedule.Must be RN have active license and appropriate insuranceNotes:Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PMVIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
