Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce QA Analyst to join our centralized QA function. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of Salesforce implementations across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Contact Center solutions, Salesforce Education Cloud, and integrations with enterprise and third-party systems.
The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on QA experience, a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, and the ability to independently lead testing efforts across multiple initiatives. This role operates within an agile, enterprise environment and partners closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, business-aligned solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
Perform functional testing across Salesforce modules, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom-built components.
Validate Salesforce configurations such as workflows, validation rules, reports, dashboards, profiles, roles, and security settings.
Conduct end-to-end integration testing between Salesforce and external systems (e.g., APIs, middleware platforms, data systems).
Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by partnering with business stakeholders to ensure real-world scenario validation.
Execute regression testing for releases, patches, and enhancements to maintain system stability.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy across standard and custom objects through detailed validation and reconciliation.
Log, track, and validate defects using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
Maintain high-quality test documentation, including test plans, execution results, and defect reports.
Collaborate with QA leads, developers, business analysts, product owners, and platform teams to ensure alignment with quality standards and delivery timelines.
Manage and prioritize testing efforts across multiple concurrent projects and releases.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including test standardization, automation readiness, and QA best practices.
Develop subject matter expertise (SME) in assigned Salesforce modules and business domains.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
8+ years of QA experience, with at least 5+ years focused on Salesforce testing.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience.
Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships, and validation rules.
Ability to review and validate Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components from a QA perspective.
Experience with integration testing involving APIs, middleware, and third-party platforms.
Proficiency in writing and executing SOQL queries for data validation and analysis.
Experience with test and defect management tools such as Azure DevOps.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.
Salesforce-related certifications are preferred.
Client or USM prior experience preferred.
