Job Description


The client requires the services of one Security Analyst to work under the direction of the client’s Network Supervisor to assist in developing Continuity of Operation (COOP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans for all identified client systems. The Security Analyst is expected to work with our staff to perform research, policy creation, conduct tabletop exercises and support staff in transferring knowledge in these areas.

Security Analyst responsibilities include:
Establishing and continuously enhancing the COOP programs, plans and processes for the client in conjunction with the Information Security Manager.
Establishing and continuously enhancing the DR programs, plans and processes for the client in conjunction with the Information Security Manager.
Establishing and continuously enhancing the Risk Management programs, plans, and processes in conjunction with the Information Security Manager.
Research mandates, regulations and rules for Information Security requirements for the client.
Conduct interviews and information gathering meetings.
Lead tabletop exercises relating to COOP, Risk Management and DR in conjunction with the Information Security Manager.
Establish applicable security policies and best practices.

Mandatory Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience;
Minimum of 5 years of IT work experience with demonstrated knowledge in architecture design, software development, database management systems and systems integration in multi-platform environments.
Experience drafting policies, disaster recovery and continuity of operations plans.
Experience in information gathering sessions for technical requirements and leading technical tabletop exercises.
