Key ResponsibilitiesReview, analyze, and prepare responses to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requestsManage communications and outreach related to FOIA requests and responsesEnsure all FOIA activities are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulationsDraft, review, and revise Intergovernmental Agreements (IGAs), Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), and related legal documentsProvide legal guidance and support on assigned projects and client initiativesHandle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretionRequired QualificationsActive license to practice law in ILStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsExperience reviewing legal documents and ensuring regulatory complianceAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectivelyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with FOIA compliance and public records mattersGovernment, public-sector, administrative law, or regulatory experienceExperience drafting and reviewing IGAs, MOUs, or similar agreementsNotes:Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
