Sr. Business Analyst

Work Experience:

The contractor is expected to work at a senior level of performance. They are expected to have at least 5 years of experience and be able to apply their experience to the Project Management, Business Analyst, or Scrum master task required.

Technical Skills:

Summary: project management tasks, gathering user requirements, documenting the requirements, running agile software development meetings, documenting technical systems, and to have a basic understanding of cloud technologies as they apply to the development area. Performing as scrum master.

Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation techniques (e.g., use cases, user stories, process flows)

Experience with business process

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams

Familiarity with SQL for data querying and basic database concepts

Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements

Experience with Agile and traditional project management methodologies

Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies

Proficiency in collaboration and communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git or SharePoint) for documentation management

Experience with stakeholder management tools and techniques

Proficiency in creating and maintaining project documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals
