Job Description
GENERAL FUNCTION
The Senior Specialist, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) reports to the Director of User Experience and is responsible for improving e-commerce performance through experimentation, analytics, and user behavior research. This role owns A/B testing initiatives, analyzes performance metrics, and delivers insights that improve conversion, engagement, and revenue across the customer journey.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests across key e-commerce funnels, including homepage, PLP, PDP, and checkout.
Develop and maintain a CRO roadmap based on data, business impact, and testing opportunities.
Use tools such as Google Analytics, experimentation platforms (e.g., Insider), heatmaps, and session replays to analyze site performance and user behavior.
Define test hypotheses, success metrics, and ensure statistical validity of results.
Measure and report the impact of experiments and UX changes, providing clear recommendations to stakeholders.
Conduct quantitative and qualitative user research to identify optimization opportunities.
Collaborate with UX, Product, Marketing, SEO, and Engineering teams to implement and evaluate optimization efforts.
Manage CRO and analytics tools and work with third-party vendors as needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in CRO, experimentation, or data-driven optimization for e-commerce.
Strong experience designing and analyzing A/B tests using modern experimentation tools.
Strong analytical skills, with experience using tools such as Google Analytics 4, A/B testing platforms, and heatmapping tools.
Experience optimizing high-traffic e-commerce websites with measurable impact on conversion or revenue.
Familiarity with UX design tools (e.g., Figma) for collaboration purposes.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Highly organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
CRO or experimentation case studies or portfolio preferred.

3. Statistical rigor in testing: ability to define hypotheses, KPIs, and ensure statistical significance and validity of results.
4. Proven experience with high-traffic e-commerce websites: demonstrated impact on conversion rate, engagement, and revenue.
