Job Description
As a Senior Product Manager focused on Enterprise Planning Tool Implementation, you will support the end-to-end delivery of a platform designed to transform how teams across the organization plan, prioritize, and align on value. This role is focused squarely on the rollout, configuration, and scale of an enterprise-wide planning tool that connects long-range strategy to quarterly execution.
You will act as the product owner for the tool itself, partnering with enterprise stakeholders, product and engineering teams, and change leads to drive configuration, adoption, and continuous improvement. Your mission: ensure the platform is set up to support enterprise-level and team planning (3-year strategies, annual objectives, quarterly priorities) while also meeting the practical needs of individual pyramids and teams.
What You’ll Do
Support Discovery, Training, Implementation & Support for the Enterprise Tool
Define the product implementation scope, training and support the execution for tool implementation—from pilot to full enterprise scale.
Translate strategic planning routines into platform capabilities and workflows.
Partner with Tech, UX, and Product teams to configure core features such as:
Value hierarchy setup (Strategic Themes ? Annual Objectives ? Initiatives ? Epics)
Understand and implement tooling in support of Annual Planning
Quarterly planning milestones and workflows
Prioritization frameworks and planning alignment
Initiative tracking, dependency management, and capacity planning
Drive Cross-Org Adoption
Partner with Enterprise Planning, PMO, and Pyramid partners to map current-state processes and configure tool capabilities accordingly.
Lead pilot rollouts with specific pyramids or planning groups to validate use cases and surface friction.
Develop and scale enablement materials, training, and governance practices to support consistent adoption.
Use data and qualitative feedback to iterate and evolve the implementation approach.
Ensure Product Excellence
Maintain a clear, prioritized backlog of platform capabilities, integrations, and enhancements based on enterprise needs.
Lead working sessions to gather requirements and align stakeholders on decisions related to tool structure and usage.
Define and track product success metrics: adoption rate, planning efficiency, roadmap visibility, outcome alignment.
Align with Strategic Planning Cadence
Ensure the tool supports key planning cadences:
3-Year Strategic Planning: High-level alignment across themes and investments
Annual Planning: Objective-setting, initiative scoping, resource assumptions, accountability in value delivery
Quarterly Planning: Commitments, trade-off management, execution readiness
Support integration of the platform into executive reviews, planning governance forums, and outcome tracking workflows.
About You
6+ years of product management experience with a strong focus on platform/tool implementation
Deep understanding of enterprise planning processes, OKRs, and initiative tracking frameworks
Proven experience delivering product tools or SaaS platforms at scale within a complex, matrixed organization
Skilled in leading large-scale change, including stakeholder management, enablement design, and phased rollout
Strong technical fluency—you can work effectively with engineers and vendors on system architecture, integrations, and data models
Excellent communicator with the ability to articulate value to technical and non-technical audiences
Comfortable operating at both 30,000 feet (vision, cross-org planning) and 3 feet (tool configuration, workflow design)
Bonus Experience (Nice to Have)
Experience implementing tools like Jira Align, Aha!, WorkBoard, Craft.io, or Planview
Familiarity with strategic planning governance and value hierarchy modeling
Experience supporting enterprise product or portfolio operating models
